CrossRoads welcomes guest artists

Come join us on Friday, February 5 for another fantabulous First Friday celebration!

CrossRoads is featuring Jo Ann Woods-Vice, Colleen Deery, Juanita Niemeyer and Vintage Lovers, plus guest artists in "Hearts Afire!" with music by Tony Vice, our favorite singing cowboy (and husband of artist JoAnn).

It may seem like it is the second Friday in January, but for all intents and purposes, its FIRST FRIDAY! Come join us for new art shows, meet the artists, have some champagne, listen to some music -- a fun time will be had by all!

At the recent Win a Pet Portrait at CrossRads Gallery, Terri Spirro won the drawing so she will get to have artist Marge Marantos draw a portrait of one of her pets (she has two dogs, two cats, and two horses...good luck picking which one gets their portrait done!).

One of our most talented artists at CrossRoads has generously offered to draw a portrait of someone's pet -- chances to win this opportuinity are on sale now at CrossRoads Gallery (on the corner of Green and Tehachapi Blvd, open daiy 11-5). Tickets are $2 each, or 3 for $5, or 6 for $10. A sample of Marge's work is hanging on the wall in the red room, so you can see for yourself how great her work is.

I'm so pleased to announce that after some amount of discussion and persuading, my friend Sparks has officially become a member of CrossRoads Gallery! She is in our guest show this month, with four pieces on display, and they have received such good feedback that Sparks was invited into the gallery on a permanent basis. Finally she accepted and got some other pieces hung on her very own little wall space, and that means that you can see her work up close and personal any day of the week!
