You do not have to be an artist to join grungehobbit.com, anyone from Tehachapi and surrounding areas can join.

Tehachapi's Artist Community has artists and friends of artists from all around our area,  Golden Hills, Old Town, Bear Valley Springs, Stallion Springs, Oak Knolls, Alpine Forest Park, Mountain Meadows, Cummings Valley, Brite Valley, Old West Ranch, Sand Canyon,  Keene Hart Flat. and even some from Mohave, Boron, Rosamond, Lancaster, Ridgecrest, Arvin, Bodfish, and  Bakersfield / Kern County.


Our community consists of artists, writers, actors, musicians, photographers, singers, poets, performing artists, dancers, arts & craft creators, and many who are not artists at  all.   We post our work and the works of other artists in Tehachapi and surrounding areas (see above), or we simply chat and have fun.   We don't care if you are Right, Left or Center, nor do we care about your race, creed or sexual orientation.  We won't censor or stifle ideas, and all art is welcome here on Grunge unless X rated, (there are adult sites for this type of art).  
  
The reason Sparks, the grunge hobbit created this site is so that all of Tehachapi's artists, rich or poor, connected or not, computer savvy or not, professional or amateur... it makes no difference, all artists, writers and musicians from Tehachapi (surrounding areas) have a place to come and show their talent.  Grunge Hobbit has visitors from all around the globe!
 
We will help you post your creations if you don't know how....we are a family of Artists.
 
Many visitors come to Grunge Hobbit because they like the idea of getting all their local art, music, literature, and performing art news and events in one place.     We as an artist community in Tehachapi are not in competition with one another, we are banding together as a wonderfully strong and talented team to make people aware of us all.  
 
If you are an artist (of any kind), or simply a person who loves the arts, and you are from Tehachapi (surrounding areas), and would like to blog your work here, or just say hello, you are very welcome to do so... go ahead and sign up! 
 

Bloggers can post about any subject or topic they like.  However all links or ads that are not related to art, literature, music, or at least have something to do with creativity or the welfare of the arts, will be deleted.  The Loop is an exception to the rule. (The Loop is a news and entertainment blog here on Grunge Hobbit).

 
I believe there is an artist in all of us, even if it is only for a moment, a day, or a brief time in our lives.  I love to ask people "Have you ever created anything?" If you have I would like to see it. Bring your unique creativity to the Grunge Hobbit.
