BIG NEWS!

Scottish Fiddler Alisdair Fraser, accompanied by cellist, extraordinaire, Natalie Haas in concert at the newly restored BeeKay Theatre for Sunday, March 8th, 4pm We are extremely lucky to get them here. They do not normally play venues this size but Alisdair, Natalie and Debby are old friends and they worked it out. Trust me, Scottish fiddling just doesn't get any better than this!

Debby says, you better get your tickets early, because with all the local fiddlers, pipers etc. in this area, we will sell out quickly. Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for students. Get them at Mountain Music, 206 E. F st., (823-9994)

And, yes, I will be recording the concert for Folkscene. :-)

We have other concerts in mind for the BeeKay, but nothing we can talk about just yet. Stay tuned.

I can't afford to go, damn. I sure would love to take my wife tho. Alasidar is the ultimate fiddler. Times are tough for us right now with a new baby we don't have the free time either. I hope someone records this. PETER

Yes, I will record the concert and it will be broadcast on Folkscene sometime later in the year. I will post that date when we have it. Sorry you won't be there. I think we all are tightening our belts to some extent.....ah well, interesting times we live in.
