Serving the informational needs of the students of Tehachapi unified school district. Cummings Valley Elementary School, Golden Hills Elementary School, Jacobsen Junior High School, Monroe Summit High School, Tehachapi High School, Tompkins Elementary School, Wells Elementary School.... Over 4,000 students benefit from the donations and volunteer activity generated by LIBRA.

Every TUSD school site has received assistance from LIBRA with contributions to the schools totaling almost $81,000.  Projects have included: Library Automation, computers, Computer Hardware, Security Systems, Computer Work Stations and Library Furniture.

Libra-Library Associates is a non-profit corporation organized by a group of concerned citizens and businesses for the purpose of augmenting and improving the libraries in the Tehachapi Public Schools.  Funds are raised by donation from individuals, community service clubs, businesses, various organizations and by funding events.
