Music - The Pat Strong Trio + 1 in Tehachapi performs easy listening music sung in a three-part harmony.  They play folk, ballads, jazz, originals and oldies which pleases all ages.  They have performed a the Apple Shed, Mountain the Mountain Festival, Farmers Market, and various events around town.

Pat Strong: lead vocalist, song writer, and guitar player (she is also a nurse).  She lived in Tehachapi since 1987, and works for Optimal Home Health and Hospice Servies. Pat has been playing guitar and singing since she was 8 years old. She has recently started writing her own songs. Her favorite, featured on the group's latest CD, is "Come Sit On My Porch", which beautifully describes life in the four seasons of Tehachapi.  The CD also has another favorite of Pat's entitled "The Winding Road", about talking time on the road to appreciate natures's gifts.

Terri Steinberg: sings soprano, solos and plays the guitar, banjo and harmonica.  She is a Nurse Practitioner in Tehachapi, and has lived here since 1995. Terry learned to play guitar and harmonica from her father, during ealy childhood, and has been singing since grade school. She has written, arranged and dirrected musical productions in Bakersfield.  Pat and Terry started singing together about 2 years ago, and discovered they love many of the same songs.

Lisa Cosgrove: bass player.  She joined the group about a year ago, making it a trio.  A native Californian, she has lived in Tehachapi around 3 years. Lisa plays numerous instruments such as drums, guitar and bass. She has played in various bands over the years, mostly as a drummer.  She enjoys playing the bass in the group, as evidenced by her smiling face and energetic manner, and definately adds a lot to the mix.

Casy Papac, the + 1 adds alto harmony to the group. She has sung in choirs and with friends throughtout her life, and loves to sing harmony.  She joined the group about 6 months ago, hence the new name: Pat strong trio + 1. Casey has enjoyed life in Tehachapi for over 7 years; it reminds her fondly of when she lived in Connecticut. Her background is in industrial sales and sales management, soon to end and retire to have more time to sing. RV travel, paint watercolors, and play her ukulele.
